Whisky: Glenfiddich Winter Storm - Experiment #03 (batch 1)
Age: 21 years
Type: Single malt
Bottled: 2017
Cask Type: Icewine Cask Finish
Bottles: 8000
Strength: 43%
Distillery: Glenfiddich Distillery
Country: Scotland: Speyside
Date: 18-02-2018
Nose: Sweetness, light candy, some marmalade, toffee, a hint of vanilla.
Flavour: Sweet, some wood, a little bitter, vanilla, light milk chocolate, a hint of white wine, subtle.
Body: Smooth, beautifully dry, very light creamy.
Comments: There's nothing wrong with how it tastes but the total lack of complexity is something disappointing for a 21 year old. To me this experiment has failed.
