Nose: Sweet citrus, cherry, Oloroso sherry, spices, some earth, a hint of lightly rotting mushrooms.
Flavour: Raisin, chocolate mousse, salmiac powder candy, liquorice, red fruit, a hint of grapefruit, a hint of charcoal, some wood in the finish.
Body: Pleasantly viscous, firm roughness, greasy on the cheeks, warm, deliciously chewy.
Comments: As a beautifully full and dignified big sherries whisky it's right up my alley.
